I have never got the driving licence, I travel by three wheeler (here is called Ape) and I often roam around for pleasant walks together: here we have many quite paths to walk through. To reach Siena or San Gimignano I could explain you how; and if you came to Monteriggioni or Colle do came to visit me!! |

… To visit our places it is better to have a car and a lot of fuel. Coming from Milan to reach Siena first you meet Florence then you get into the joining road Florence-Siena, while coming from Rome you should get into the so called Sun motorway and get outside at Valdichiana Gate, then you go through the Siena-Bettolle joining road and then you are arrived. While if you haven't a car and you move around by railways, it is better to reach Florence, where there is also the airport, and from there you could take a bus called postale (mailing), to Siena as to all the other smaller villages..
